Ronald From Wisconsin

I started listening to Wisconsin Public Radio in 1991, one year after relocating to Wisconsin from Illinois. Our family has been viewing Wisconsin Public Television for nearly 27 years. I grew up watching PBS in Chicago on WTTW, Channel 11. In the late 50s, a small group of us appeared on PBS to sing folk songs.

I remember listening and viewing the 2008 election of President Barack Obama and sharing the moment with my late mother, who never believed she would live long enough to see the day. Every radio in our home and automobile is set for WPR.

WPT and WPR provides highly informative, intelligent, entertaining and balanced programming.
