2016 - Second Century News Fellowship
Wisconsin Public Radio established the Second Century News Fellowship in 2016 to provide opportunities for new and diverse journalists to gain practical experience in public media news production. If public media wants to be vital in the future, WPR believes it needs to be fully reflective of the communities we serve.
Ross Terrell (pictured) joined WPR’s Milwaukee office as the network’s inaugural Second Century News Fellow. Terrell, a graduate of the University of Missouri, is an Edward R. Murrow Award winner with experience at the Huffington Post and public radio stations in Missouri.
