1976 - A Musical Man

Don Voegeli spent his entire career at WPR and wrote the All Things Considered theme song, still in use today. He also produced collections of music used by public radio stations throughout the nation for many years.

Before the move to Vilas Hall, Voegeli played the Radio Hall organ to accompany programs and for broadcast recitals.  He was an accomplished composer in classical, jazz and experimental music and taught at UW-Madison’s School of Music.
