1944 - A Patriotic Spirit

WPR’s Radio Hall studios regularly welcomed musicians from across campus and around the state.  During World War II, the patriotic spirit of the nation was reflected through broadcasts with the campus ROTC Cadets and Band and others.

The station also aired regular public service announcements on topics including rationing, service recruitment and salvage drives.
