I grew up in the 1960s. My 4th grade elementary school teacher used School of the Air’s “Let’s Sing” for a weekly music lesson. “Let’s Sing, let’s make the rafters ring, with songs (both sad and gay?).” I remember one day I was sick on “Let’s Sing” day and asked my mother to please put it on the radio for me – had to have it!
