Our first-grade class in 1956 listened to Let’s Draw via WHAD-FM in Delafield. As a teen I wanted to get into radio as a DJ. I eventually landed a job with the Wisconsin Educational Communications Board as an engineer in 1975, doing both radio and TV work. As part of my early years, I was one of the engineers that reported the weather during the “Weather Roundup” from the WPR transmitter sites. I retired in 2007 after 31 years. This is a photo of me taken in the WPTV tech ops center at the ECB building in the late 1980’s.
