2010 - LZ Lambeau – Welcome Home

WPT leads the nation in finally welcoming home and honoring our Vietnam veterans with LZ Lambeau – a multi-day event held at Lambeau Field in Green Bay that brought together an estimated 70,000 Vietnam veterans, their families, friends and neighbors in the biggest community engagement event ever produced by a public television station.

The project, which inspired other states and stations to create similar events, is just one example of how WPR and WPT have worked with partners around Wisconsin and the nation to honor our veterans and share their stories.
