WPT produces Vel Phillips: Dream Big Dreams, celebrating the life and achievements of civil rights activist Vel Phillips, and including a unique community-based project that engaged more than 7500 people around the state in discussions and forums about racial equity in the 21st century.

The documentary was shared in 121 markets across the US, and includes a high school civil rights curriculum that is also available nationally.
