Our centennial celebrations included a live performance of classic radio drama. WPR’s Old Time Radio Drama Host Norman Gilliland emceed a family-friendly adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s “The Canterville Ghost” with the 9XM Players.
We offered two performances in the summer, at the Door Community Auditorium in Fish Creek and at the Big Top Chautauqua in Bayfield. It was an evening of comedy, period costumes, sound effects and music with Milwaukee’s Nickel and Rose in Door County and the Blue Canvas Orchestra in Bayfield.
